⚡️🇷🇺🇺🇦🚢💥 A Russian liquefied natural gas tanker, the Arctic Metagaz, has sunk in the Mediterranean between Libya and Malta after explosions and a large fire on board.

🔻 Libyan maritime authorities reported that the ship was carrying around 62,000 tonnes of LNG and was about 130 nautical miles from the port of Sirte when it was hit by explosions followed by a fire that led to the sinking.

🔻 Moscow has accused Ukraine of hitting the ship with naval drones launched from the Libyan coast, describing the incident as "an act of terrorism". Kiev has not commented on the accusations and the cause of the explosion has not been independently confirmed.

🔻 The 30 crew members, all Russian citizens, were rescued at sea and are reported safe.
