⚡️🇫🇷🔥Between April 13 and 16, the French group “Droit des Prisonniers Français” claimed several attacks against at least eleven prisons, including Toulouse, Marseille and Nîmes.

🔻 The attacks included deliberate vehicle and gate fires, and at least one armed assault with a Kalashnikov against the entrance of the Toulon-La Farlède prison.

🔻 Authorities have launched an anti-terrorism investigation and Interior Minister Gérald Darmanin has ordered the national security level to be raised.

🔻 The group, active on Telegram with over 1,200 subscribers before the channel was closed, denounced harsh prison conditions with a 131% overcrowding rate and the new isolation regime inspired by the Italian 41-bis regime.
