β‘οΈπΊπΈπ·πΊπ’οΈ Donald Trump has announced an agreement with Russia to supply 5 million tonnes of Russian diesel to the United States and global markets. The U.S. Treasury has issued a temporary license authorizing transactions for the import of Russian diesel until April 7, 2027.
π» Putin confirmed Russia's willingness to supply oil and petroleum products. Russian Deputy Prime Minister Novak announced the early revocation of the diesel export ban to ensure supplies to the United States and partners.
π» Supplies are scheduled in tranches: 300,000 tonnes immediately, 500,000 in November, 1 million immediately after, and another 3 million later. Oil prices have already fallen after the temporary license.
π» Zelenskyy criticized the agreement, while Germany will maintain sanctions. A few hours after the announcement of the agreement, Ukraine struck a Russian fuel site, stating that it will continue attacks on refineries.
