⚡️🇮🇹🇨🇺🏥 A medical team from the Gemelli Polyclinic in Rome is traveling to Cuba to assist Alessandro Di Battista, who is hospitalized in Havana in serious condition. Two specialists will evaluate the possibility of a transfer to Italy.

🔻The former M5S deputy, 48, was in Cuba to produce a report when on Friday he experienced severe headaches and a feeling of sickness. He was initially hospitalized in Santa Clara, where he was reportedly unconscious for several hours before regaining consciousness.

🔻Di Battista was then transferred by ambulance to Hermanos Ameijeiras Hospital in Havana, where he underwent several examinations, including a CT scan.

🔻The former parliamentarian is conscious and has responded to some messages received: “I will do everything to return soon.” On the phone with Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani, he asked the government to “help the Cuban people,” recalling the difficult conditions the island has faced.
