⚡️🇪🇺📈 The price of European natural gas has exceeded 103.94 euros per megawatt hour, reaching the highest levels since the end of 2022. In October, prices rose by more than 30%, while in Italy inflation rose to 5.4% on an annual basis, compared to 4.2% in September.

🔻According to preliminary Istat estimates, the acceleration of Italian inflation is mainly due to the rise in energy prices, which increased by 31.4% compared to October 2025. In particular, regulated energy prices increased by 59.5%, while unregulated ones increased by 29.4%.

🔻Prices for unprocessed food +7.5% and transport services +3.1% also rose. The so‑called “shopping basket”, which includes food products and household and personal care items, recorded an annual increase of 2.5%.
