⚡️🇮🇹🏥 Margherita Napoletano, coordinator of the RSU and representative of workers for the safety of the San Raffaele hospital in Milan, has chained herself in the hospital atrium together with three colleagues after being fired with immediate effect. The trade unionist has launched an all-out hunger strike and announced a permanent sit-in.

🔻Before the protest, around a hundred workers participated in an internal procession up to the personnel office, where Napoletano returned the badge announcing that she will appeal the dismissal in court.

🔻The company contests the trade unionist with a presumed violation of safety rules related to the access of a student intern to a union room. Napoletano rejects the accusations and maintains that the dismissal represents a retaliation for the trade union activity and the reports on working conditions within the hospital.
