⚡🇮🇹🚜 Today in Bari more than two thousand farmers gathered under the prefecture to protest against the high fuel prices, demanding recognition of the crisis status of the olive sector and the entire agricultural sector.

🔻The demonstration was organized by Orgoglio Olivicolo together with Confagricoltura Bari-BAT, who claim that without urgent government intervention, 16,000 Apulian companies and more than 30,000 jobs would be at risk.

🔻The initiative comes after several days of protests and roadblocks by truck drivers and farmers, spread throughout Southern Italy. Just yesterday, more than 100 farmers occupied the state road 16 in the Foggia-San Severo stretch.
