⚡️🇮🇷🤝🇺🇸 The White House has released the text of the memorandum of understanding between the United States and Iran. The document provides for a permanent ceasefire, non-interference, the lifting of sanctions, and negotiations for a final agreement within 60 days.

🔻 Washington would commit to progressively lifting sanctions against Tehran, to unfreeze Iranian assets, and to withdraw forces from areas surrounding Iran within 30 days of the final agreement.

🔻 Tehran would freeze its nuclear program during negotiations and renounce the development of atomic weapons, with the management of enriched uranium reserves under the supervision of the IAEA.

🔻 The document also provides for the reopening of commercial navigation in the Persian Gulf and the Gulf of Oman within 30 days, while Iran and Oman will discuss the governance of the Strait of Hormuz within the framework of international law.
