⚡️🇧🇪🔥 Today in Brussels heavy clashes were recorded between protesters and police during the mobilization against the austerity policies of the government of Bart De Wever.

🔻 Near the central station, some protesters erected barricades and threw stones at the officers, who responded with tear gas and water cannons.

🔻 The national strike, which involved workers and students, challenges the government's plan to raise 10 billion euros through cuts to health and education and an increase in taxes, with repercussions for workers, pensioners and low‑income families.
