⚡️🇺🇸🤖 OpenAI has introduced a new artificial intelligence model that brings the company closer to an Artificial General Intelligence AGI , a system theoretically capable of performing cognitive tasks in many domains like a human being.

🔻 According to the company, GPT-6 Astra is designed to tackle new problems without being trained for each individual task, autonomously adapting its approach and maintaining context during complex activities.

🔻 OpenAI also claims that Astra has achieved performance near or surpassing human levels in some reasoning tests and in the autonomous use of computers and software, with particularly advanced results in mathematics, scientific research, and cyber security.

🔻 Some researchers, however, have raised concerns about the safety and ethics of the model, highlighting the difficulty of fully observing and monitoring its decision-making process, considered "opaque".
