⚡️🇮🇹🤖The Italian government has accelerated the legislative process of the decree that regulates the use of artificial intelligence and facial recognition by law enforcement.

🔻 The text would allow for real-time biometric identification to prevent serious threats such as «terrorist attacks» with prior judicial authorization. In urgent cases, it would be possible to activate the system immediately and request authorization within 24 hours.

🔻 In sensitive locations or events, the decree would allow collecting and storing for seven days the biometric data of people present.
