⚡️🇮🇹🚨Last night a 4.7 magnitude earthquake struck the Campi Flegrei with its epicenter in the Pozzuoli area, followed by an aftershock sequence, marking the strongest earthquake ever recorded in the area since the start of monitoring.

🔻 The earthquake caused the collapse of a rocky slope of Mount Olibano, damage to buildings, destroyed cars, and falling debris. The provisional balance is 21 injured, two in red code, while 22 families have been evacuated from their homes.

🔻 The quakes continued throughout the night with aftershocks above magnitude 3.0. Firefighters are conducting checks on buildings, while numerous residents spent the night in the reception areas set up between Pozzuoli and Naples.
