⚡️🇮🇱🇱🇧🤝United States, Israel and Lebanon have signed a framework agreement in Washington on southern Lebanon, linking Israeli withdrawal to the deployment of the Lebanese army and the disarmament process of Hezbollah.

🔻 The agreement provides for a transition phase in which Israel would maintain some positions considered strategic, while Beirut should strengthen state control over the south of the country with the support of the United States.

🔻 Hezbollah did not participate in the agreement and rejected it, arguing that instead the memorandum of understanding between the United States and Iran should be applied, which would provide for Israeli withdrawal from Lebanon.
