⚡️🇨🇺📄The Cuban Prime Minister Manuel Marrero has presented 175 economic measures to the National Assembly, the most radical since the 1959 revolution, to open up to the private market in response to US sanctions that are devastating the island's economy.

🔻 The reforms, supported by the Communist Party and Raúl Castro, provide for private real estate development, the entry of private banks, and the transformation of state enterprises into companies with shares and stock participations.

🔻 The plan reduces bureaucratic constraints for businesses and self-employed workers, recognizing the market as an "instrument for the efficient allocation of resources".

🔻 The measures, which the government defines as consistent with the development of the Cuban socialist model, are now under review by the National Assembly, which must vote on their approval before implementation.
